We just came back from a 3000 Mile trip to Vegas, Temps in Vegas were in the 75-80, and even sitting in traffic the tunnel heat is not an issue. As a matter of fact it is not a lot warmer than ambient. Inside the Console, granted the temp is probably in the 120 degree range.
They must have routed your exhaust pipes in the wrong spot
as the tunnel temp is no different than any other performance car I,ve owned.
