Dont count on the C6Z being any better than the C5Z in terms of build quality (my 02 has been less than stellar), except perhaps, the LS7engine, which is built using superior methods and techniques. This means paint issues, cheap window motors that fail, wacky gas guages, improperly set wheel alignments, oil temperature gages that dont work below 30F, etc. Moreover, GM has not done a thing to address the less than quality dealers that sell these cars. The techs at the dealers should have some C6Z specific training to service these cars properly. Checking the dry sump line fittings should be part of the delivery process. In fact, all the suspension bolts, fluids, alignment, etc should be checked by the dealer prior to delivery. In reality, all the dealer does is wash the car and take your money.

I still love these cars, but not GM or GM dealers.
