I have a '03 Z06 with 35k miles on it & I just dropped by the dealership to check on GMPP pricing... I mentioned to her that I was shopping around for prices & she told me that no matter where I went in FL, I'd be paying the same amount. I then mentioned shopping out-of-state & she told me that I couldn't do that!?!
...She said that it was against the law (I'm confused as to which 'law' she's referring to) for anyone out-of-state to sell me a GMPP plan & I could get into trouble as well as the person/dealership that sold it to me.
Can you let me know what she's talking about, seeing as she wouldn't give much of an explanation? I think she's working on commission, so she probably just doesn't want me to go anywhere else to purchase one.
