Anecdotal experience
I didn't know anything about helmet fit when I bought mine. I wanted good peripheral vision in a closed-face helmet. I tried on several helmets. The one I bought fits snugly, but not tightly.
Meaning: The helmet does not move on my head ... when I use my hands and try to turn the helmet on my head, my head moves with it. However, after wearing it for 30 minutes or more, there are no noticeable pressure points experienced. I consider that a proper fit. FWIW ...
