That will not work. When the clutch pedal is is pushed in the pcm treats it as neutral.
The rev limiter is set at redline in nuetral.
The rev limiter cuts fuel but the Electronic Throttle Control (not a speed control) closes the throttle blade and cuts air at the set rpm in each gear.
The speed control also cuts air but in any gear.
The speed control is disabled on all cars.
I have a program that I wrote for my car called service that has the rev limiter set at 3500 in all gears and the speed limiter set at 55 mph.
Haven't had to leave my car with anyone but the program is there if I do.
