Thanks for the offer Mike. I think they are only ~ $40 or $50 a pair at Best Buy or BJ's...and I've wanted a set just for the heck of it...so I am just going to pick up a pair next time I run by the store.
I'll stay updated on this thread. My dad and I are making the run so if there are trailers involved that will actually be good for him as we won't be moving at Mach speeds on the last leg. Last time I was up at my parent's house my mother told me to bring him back in one piece and without getting a heart attack. His speeding days were over once he sold his GTO, 63 SWC Vette and parked the 69 Z/28 when I came along back in '77.
Count me in for representing the NJ folks. Not sure if there are any others from NJ making the run on Tuesday.
I wanted to tour the Greenbrier Congressional bunker in White Sulphur Springs, but that would mean leaving on Monday and it would put me a few hours off track from the Caravan. Oh well....there will be another time.
