While I want the car now, my "master" plan is to get a deposit on one at MSRP or lower. Then save some mad $$$ in the interim with the motivation being, if I can save enough $ I'll keep my 01' Z06. I have $26k saved now
. Want to save another $24k in the mean time, my loan will be next to nothing. So I guess I'd like some advice on where to order with this plan in mind. I don't want to get put on a list for 2yrs, yet I don't want to be called next week either with some "good news".

The 01Z is TR, and while I've never been a fan of red cars, there is just something striking about a red Z. Blue however is my fav color. So I'm very conflicted there.
