No, that's totally different (and still there). That's normal chatter from the transmission at low RPMs. Every Tremec or BorgWarner T56 has it and that's basically the same tranny in the C6 and C6Z (and F-body 6-speeds).

The chatter I was talking about was the rear end gears due to insufficient or bad limited slip additive.

The service writer told me that they drain and flush the rear end and then ship off the contents to GM for inspection and if it's serious, they'll call me back in for total rear end replacement under warranty. Since I only started hearing the noise recently and only put on maybe 500 miles on the car, I'm not worried about that.
