Mike I agree with what you are saying. I've got a total of 10 passes now and would think with 50 more I might get my Z down to the 12.50's but doubt I could keep from breaking something first. Have you had your C6 Z06 to the track yet? I'm thinking I would need the hardened axle shafts, the DTE plates and maybe the Textralia clutch too. I like the C5-R idea you went with. Before I start the mods I've got to get a 4 post lift. I've spent way to much time on my back under the cars I've had over the past 40 plus years. I once replaced a starter on my new 1966 396 Impala on the street in Chicago. The temperature was -10 deg. F. Brrrrr!
