As far as wax goes... I used Meguiar's (not sure which variant).
I've only waxed it 2 or 3 times in 6 years. It's probably been 3 years since it's last waxing
I think the key to a nice finish is keeping the car stored inside. Which mine has been since new. I'm also pretty particular about how I clean it. Giving an extra effort not to haze up the clear coat.
