Re: Tire & Wheel package

I bought a set of CCW's for the track from John 3 yrs ago, same size as he is recommending.

I run a street tire on them, I drive to and from the track and I love the setup. I think it just depends on what your goals are in HPDE's, I personally am happy in adv group, having a blast and still on street tires.

I didn’t have a problem with the above setup other than the fact I need spacers up front due to the close proximity of the spokes and brake caliper. I had spoken to John and "CCW" staff several times he has always been professional even though my questions probably seemed redundant. John told me that 18X11 up front and 18X13 in the rear is the hot setup for running quickly around a road course. Did anyone transition or have first hand knowledge of someone that transitioned from a smaller size wheel package to the 18X11 18X13 setup?

Ok It won't happen again thanks,
