Not only cost, which as you said is a huge differnce, but also the fact the Viper ACR at least is really a track car that is streetable at least in the legal sense.
With its aero package, including the rear wing and removable front splitter along with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires as standard equipment, in addition to the radio and sound deadening delete options, the ACR is definitely more track oriented than either the C6RS is, or the forthcoming ZR1 likely will be.
