New member...help me decide on which vette!

Hey guys, new member here and I'm set up with a buyer to sell my '99 T/A M6 that's cammed with bolt-ons (427RWHP/380RWTQ) on Jan. 4th which I've owned for 4 years. I'm also preapproved for a loan which I plan to use along with my money from the T/A to buy my first vette. So my question is should I go with a C5Z ('02) or a stock '05 C6? I've always liked the electron blue color and I know how quick the C5Z's really are. Most people underrate these cars when in reality it's similar speed-wise to a 400rwhp f-body. The only reason I would lean towards the C6 is b/c it's the new body style and the C5 has been around 8 years prior to. I still think the ZO6 is sexy as hell and I know it's faster. Even though this forum is biased what would you guys recommend? Keep in mind I've NEVER owned a vette before.
TIA,
Geoff
