Ignoring the price, I think it's real nice. I don't care for the hood window, but all the other exterior bits I'm okay with. My 22 year old son thinks the ZR1 is what a Corvette should look like. The press and the public are going nuts over it. People that know I have a Corvette have called me to talk about it. My 81 year old mother asked me about it because she read about it in the newspaper. Many of my car buddies have mentioned it to me.
The LS9 is to drool for. I like the top mount blower and the intercooler on top. A 620 HP Corvette is what many of us dream of. And with a 100,000 mile powertrain warranty, holy heck Batman. And the brakes are real nice too.
I agree, the dealers are going to adjust the price on most of them. Only a few, like Zippy and Norm, may get the ZR1 at MSRP. I'll have to play and win the lottery, or go Siska style to get one.
Yes, it's over priced, so was the C4 ZR-1, and so is the C6 Z06, but they will sell all they can build of both. It's a great time to be a driver, just wish I was wealthy.
