I am talking about the total package ... the handling and braking not just horse power .. This is a super halo vehicle for GM. I do not think that they are going to steal much business from the exotic car builders..a lot of the people that buy exotics cars are looking for the exclusivity that those cars give them..but GM is offering a world class super car to thousands of people who would never be able to purchase one of the exotics ... there is a big difference in the price of a ZR1 and the upper end exotic cars.

No kidding Sherlock!..and it is a free country and I don't intend on purchasing one, however, who are you to tell me what to buy and not to buy. You're entitled to your opinion, as I'm entitled to mine. I'll keep the C6 Z06 that I have now, and be satisfied rather than just trying to build my ego that I'm getting a better car.
As far as building a car like that, you can buy your basic Corvette for $41,000 and mod it to be faster for a lot less money.
