Re: 2nd day @ Spring Mountain!!

Just got home, long day of travel. Anyway, I never thought I could learn so much about driving in three days - Skid control on wet pavement with and W/O ABS in the Vettes.Learning to take a corner entry/apex/exit. Downshift, not as easy as it sounds while breaking, blip the throttle to match rpm with speed while braking (samefoot) and down shift smoothly . A lot of it is about being smooth-turning/throttle/braking and
shifting. Other than coming out of the pits I only used 3rd and 4th the whole time. You just can't use any where near all that HP when you're cornering.
Oh yeah, got to drive there Calloway Supercharged C6 one session. OMG what a machine, and a C5 ZO6,C6's, and of course the C6 ZO6's which I felt at home in. Now I know what my car will do------err, at least with me driving
Over all, the facility, instructors, cars ,everything was a 10. They asked to fill out a critique on how to maybe improve, beats me--
later
