The roof issue predominantly affected '06 cars. The rocker arm needle bearing issue appears to be affecting mainly '07 cars manufactured between Jan and Jun of that year. However, that is based on a very small sample size and the actual extent of the issue is unknown. Both of these issues are covered by TSB's.
A 'recall' per se is usually only issued for safety related defects and can be independently conducted by a manufacturer or ordered by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

The '08 cars have a redesigned transmission as well as an updated (stronger) rear differential as well as an updated, redesigned steering rack which affords lighter, more precise, steering. Other changes include cosmetic interior design changes along with an additional interior option: 3LZ.
