With that said, if I were doing an S/C I'd look to the ECS Novi 2000 kit for your stock bottom end C5-Z. They have done quite a bit of R&D on their kit to make it a "plug and play" application that routinely makes 550 rwhp at low boost on stock bottom ended LS6 motors. If you go to the Corvette Forum you'll see many folks running their kits...LS1's, LS2's, LS3's, LS6's and LS7's. In fact, their first ever Novi 2000 install was done on a stock bottom ended LS1 auto coupe almost 3 years ago. That car has been flogged on the drag strip on probably 150 passes and late last year it went 9.8@138 at E'town....and yes, it still had all the original bottom end parts with the exception of an ECS blower cam. Oh, and I forgot to mention...it is a very quiet S/C...so your opponent won't know what hit them.

Do your homework and make sure you talk to your shop first (if you are not doing the install yourself) about your plans. They (or you...if you are doing the work yourself) may want to call the company whose product you've decided to purchase prior to you going forward just to make sure there are no "uh oh's."

I agree, if I didn't go with the twins it would have been the ECS blower kit.. Doug and Chris are great guys to deal with and they put out one of, if not, the best blower kit on the market... its certainly one of the blowers with the best reputations.. I watched an auto C5Z06 running their blower with their blower cam, alky, 10psi, and drag package running 10.3s all day long at the track..
