Primary wear metals are Aluminum, Iron, Copper and Lead. AMSOIL showed lower wear numbers for all of these, but some of this can be attributed to engine break-in. AMSOIL's Total Base Number or TBN was higher at 4.6 vs 3.6 for the Mobil 1 showing more life left. Both remained in grade for a 30 grade oil. Concern is that insolubles are up. This could be from the higher detergent levels (Calcium 3193 vs 2588) in the AMSOIL cleaning out some sludge in the engine that had built up in the first 10k miles. Won't know for sure until my next sample.
