Who's this Don guy, Don Who???

I have a totally different opinion on this, but I'm a Buick guy so take it for what it's worth.

I cannot see the point in not spending the extra bucks to upgrade the internals. They WILL eventually need replacing anyway. If your talking HP/dollar there is no cheaper way to go. 6-7 PSI may get you 550 RWHP for $6,500, but if you spend the extra 3-4 grand, you can turn up the boost to a "respectable" level and make 700,800,900...
Again, I'm only a Buick guy, but my little V6 with forged internals can handle 30 PSI. No you wont get there with a SC, now we're talking turbo's!
Who are you going to listen to...Don, a guy with an 11 second 02 Z06, or Dave, a guy with a 10 second 87 Buick...an old man car? Funny how the old guy has a Vette and the young guy has a Buick.
