Surging can be a lot of things but usually fuel/air ratio condition. Your car unless modified shouldn't BUCKING? That's pretty extreme. The LS7 will give a slight surge bone stock but not bucking. Mine slightly surges at low RPM's below 3000. I try to keep my cruising RPM's about 2500. When I FLOOR it there is no surge issues just low RPM in lower gears. If in doubt take it back to the dealer especially if it's bucking. Good luck to you.
