The wife and I were looking into Pontiac Torrents for the longest time...just could not find one w/ the options we wanted locally for the price I was willing to pay. I went back and forth over email w/ one of their dealerships in the Northeast....ended up coining the phrase "Heard the turd."
Eventually bought an '08 Saturn Vue for no hassle and it fit our budget and needs.
I hate to say it, but this will be par for the course w/ limited production high-po domestics. I think I remember my dad telling me that the GNX's in the 80's were sold via sealed envelope / highest bidder.
Just wish I had $100k+ to buy something...I'm waiting out a used low mileage '10 CTS-V.
