Lost my best friend last night.

I got the news last night that my good friend of 32 years died last night. It was not unexpected, he was diagnosed with cancer about three and half years ago. At that time one doctor gave him six months to live.
I meet Mike when we bought our first trucks together and started in the household goods moving business. He was driving a 69 SS 396/375hp Chevelle at the time. It was only natural that we hooked up.
He had already had his first Corvette, a 67 but had to sell it to get into trucking.
As he got the funds he bought many Corvettes and other nice cars over the years. His whole live was around trucking and cars. He was with me when I bought my 69 Corvette, and I still have that car about 30 years later.
He was really excited when I bought the Z06. Even though he was not feeling well he came to Putnam Park for the ZFest to be a part of that. He was not feeling well enough to go the Bowling Green.

I'll miss him greatly.......
Later,
