Re: Autox suspension upgrades
Go for a good set of DA shocks (you choice) but I have been using JRZs for the pas 5 year, and have put over 40k on them. Just had them rebuilt, and my tec ask: Why? They were in great shape. But other brands will works as well.
But they (DA shocks) have allowed me to use the car for both National Tour auto-xing and long distance road travel...Both are just a click away...I'm also running stock springs/swaybars with T-1 adjustable links front only (SCCA rules for SS). Remember too much camber can hurt you in braking/acceleration, but there are times that I wish I had more then the 1.75 neg in the front 1.25 rear, Tow adjusted to surface conditions (I have a marked Zero tow and will go in or out depending on course configuration), along with gas pressure changes in shocks, and damping/rebound. But it would suprise you just how little it takes to get what is need at times (one maybe to up on compression, and one to four on rebound)...Wheels/tires and tire pressures will really make or brake you (find out what is working for your brand of tire)
Mark.
