Just hit the unlock button on your key fob twice before you get to the car. That way both sides are unlocked. The key fob is designed for security. When you walk up to the car, it only unlocks the drivers side. If you have it programmed so, it will allow the passenger to get in after you get in the car or when the car senses the fob is in the drivers seat. Again, just hit the unlock button twice and everyone will be happy. Another benefit is that you get to see all your pretty lights come on as you walk up to the car.
