OK, Pitt just quit his bitching...3 more runs at the Fest and I was able to slip this twin. New best 1/4 mile on a 83 degree day with 2800 DA was 11.122 @125.5 with 14.5 psi in ET Streets. Track prep was not great in my opinion...lots of spin going on. My sixty was 1.594 and a 7.148 @97.6 mph. I was launching easy for me...top was a 5200 rpm launch on 14.5 psi. First 2 runs, I ran back to back 11.5's with 17 psi cold and 19.5 hot. Car was hooking and hopping and spinning...first time ever. Vids coming soon. They were on 4400 rpm launches. Cold weather is looking good here !!!
I just might recommend this McLeod Twin afterall. Big race in November with me and my friend Mark against the Mustang Club. Let me see if it will pull some mid 1.4's with 11.5 psi and and more rpm launch.
