Re: Oil Question

Since the car has very low miles on it you can probably wait and change the oil at 1,000 - 1,200 mi.

If it had more than 2,500 miles I would have recommend changing the oil now as harmful acids have had a chance to build up

I would also consider changing to a Synthetic ATF for the Tranny and a Synthetic Gear Lube for the Diff. at 1,000 mi too, after the gear faces and Diff clutches have burnished in.

I recommend either AMSOIL or Mobil 1 products for all of the above.

Then changing the synthetic oil at every, 4,000 mi, 6 months or 50% oil life, whichever comes first.
