So, what was the conclusion on the GTR v. Z06
performance. I still think that Nissan is playing a little game here. I find it hard to believe that 480 hp is going to get 4,000 lbs down the track at 11.4! And I don't care that it is AWD. That might help what 1/2 second on the take off (and I won't argue with the 0-60 times either because that is less than 1/2 second).
Now, I know several bone stock Z's are running faster than that, but that is 505 hp and about 3,350 lbs with driver.
Going to the drag strip in a couple of weeks (once the salt gets off the road) and I pray that I can run one of those things.
Anyway, any credible source that Nissan is playing tricks with their cars.
