My problems with long trips are the bugs. I have a GM bra that I use but the bugs hit the windshield and seem to splat anywhere. Every time I stop for gas on long trips I get the clay bar out and the Zano touchup spray and hit the bugs while they are fresh. My second issue is the tractor trailer retreads that seem to line our highways. I hit one on the way to BG this April. Talk about Firestone Retreads
Carlisle is always fun. Be sure you get there on Saturday before 7:00am or you may have a very long wait. Two years ago I waited for two hours in bumper to bumper traffic when I left the hotel around 7:30am. Wife and I now get there by 7:00am on Saturday.
