If you are going to change the pads, you of course need to loosen the Caliper pin bolts to take the rotor off and change the pads.
If you are going to change the rotors AND pads you can just remove the caliper mounting bracket bolts to do both, there is no need to remove the caliper from the bracket.
And while your there doing all this. spend about $11 a wheel and install speedbeeders.
