You can run a service history from the VIN that will tell you right away if the car has been in for oil consumption concerns? If it was rebuilt?? How the situation was left?, possibly accidents/paintwork(although not always) etc. I have been following the Z market on EBay as I know everyone else has. You can find a REAL nice, low mileage 2002 for right around $40-$42k, maybe even under. And you may be able to steal an 01' for mid-upper 30's. I would say go with an 02', just my opinion. IS CARRZY's car still for sale. That looks like a real gem. At $41k its a steal with only 5k miles or something like that. Try to buy from a forum member, at least you know it was taken care of. I have seen some BEAT Z's around my area, obviously ownerd by non-enthusiast's. Win/Win buying from the forum......
