I have the hardened drive shafts because I bought the getrag unit where it had them already.

If you don't drag race with drag radials, I not 100% convinced you need them. Its not a bad idea..but not mandatory (unless drag race with drag radials)

The funny thing is these "hardened output shafts" are actually more flexible than stock so they give more before snapping..

Just an fyi..and they certainly are something to put in if your not sure if your going to hit the drag strip..

Might as well package the unit the best you can.

Especially if money is no object.

What is it? An extra 2 hundred? What the hell..

Not necessary though...
