My plans for this year are still up in the air as I may leave early to take in the Black Hills Classic in South Dakota. Too early to tell.
I have taken a northern route, a southern route and a mid-america return route and all were good; (OK, maybe Kansas was a bit boring).
It all depends on how much time you have and what you want to see along the way.
