why don't you swap the SCM (Seat Control Module) from the Z06 seat to the sport seat? Don't know why that wouldn't work. I found the sport seat and Z06 seats to have the same SCM part number but with different wiring arrangements
I bought complete sport seats and had to rewire the sport seat SCM to match the memory equipped Z06 seat (basically disable the telescoping steering wheel option)
