I think you are being a little over zealous yes. If you get on a stock Z06 sized wheel (or whatever the matching size is) for a while yes it will look funny but it won't hurt anything. What else would you want them to do? Buy a $1500 wheel when it can be fixed for a fraction of that? Sounds like the wheel will be good as new considering it is a three piece.

Try to understand that they are doing their best to fix their mistake, but put yourself in their shoes and really think about it. We Z06 owners are a very particular bunch I know, but sometimes we have to allow for "good enough" in the time being as long as it turns out best in the end.

I dunno man, I'd say everything seems ok to me.
