[quote=DRY HEAT]I'm in the process of swapping out the black anodized centers on my CCWs for polished centers and while removing my lugs I snapped off a rear wheel stud. I was ready for a time consuming job, but I didn't need this!
Has anybody out there done this and had it repaired by the dealer? From what I understand it isn't that much of a job, but I'm guessing the dealer is not going to warranty this and I'm wondering what it will cost me.
I told my wife we must have gotten a car with defective wheel studs and if she really cares about me, we should get our order in for the '06.....she wasn't convinced
Obviously I plan on getting it taken care of this week, but hopefully driving around town will not stress the other 4 studs much until it's done.[/QUOT

That should be covered under warranty. Wheel studs shouldn't snap off under normal use so why wouldn't it be covered?

If I could ask, why are you changing out your black anodized centers? Did they get discolored? Are you exchanging them with CCW? Reason I ask is I just bought black anno streets from CCW. thanks
