I appreciate the link. Very informative and if it should happen again sounds like ARP upgraded studs would be a good idea.

As far as being covered under warranty, I agree they should be---however I'm pretty sure I'll be stuck with the bill. (Anytime the wheels have been taken off or put on its either been myself or my trusty tire guy. We both use a torque wrench for tightening and impact wrenches haven't touched the lugs.....until now when the dealer is replacing the wheel stud!) But we've all had the same conversations with the dealer and it was something I did I'm sure!

I'm wondering if the heat here has something to do with metal fatigue. I've spoken with a few people here who have had the same thing happen on different vehicles.
