I have thought about this alot and have to say that I agree for the most part. I think the price for a low mile '02+ will stick around 35K, I doubt it will go up any as long as the base price for the base C6 stays in the 45K range.

I agree that out the box the C6 is a few ticks slower in the quarter and around the track, but IMHO this is due to ultra conservative tuning.. you could easily make more power than an stock '02+ with a little tuning.

I do think that there will be a demand for our Zs though because they are a much more viceral "connected" car than the current base C6. Many think the new c6 is a little watered down, this should create a niche for the C5 Z06.....Weekend racers on a budget will more than likely not be able to afford the C6 Z.
