I did a budget build on my old 98 Z28 using used mac headers($260) a T1 MTI cam new ($275) valve springs from Comp 150. It put down 380 with stock heads.

I bought a "Test" cam from TSP the 225/589/112 for $275, headers from Jet Hot ($600) and heads (MTI stage 2e) $1500 for my FRC and did all the install myself. Still needs a tune but it runs great on stock tue noi stalling or anything. I be this cam would be fne with stock heads and headers and valve springs for a budget build.
