Im not going to be picking on viper owners becuase im nice and not becuase i cant

You are right however about the horsepower. SRT-10s dyno in the 440-450RWHP range from what i have seen which means they have a slight horsepower advantage just like the slight weight advantage the new Z will have. YET the thing that will decide the winner is gearing and rpms which are big differnece between the cars. The new Z will be a 7000RPM screamer with aggresive gearing. Viper are geared wide to make use of the power band they have. I remember in one of your posts on viperclub you said you gained near 4 mph or 6mph by short shifting at the track correct? what rpms where you shifting at?
