To top 200mph in 5th would take either a taller 5th or a taller rear end... and with only 100hp extra on tap, the taller gear/gears would result in a slower accelleration all round.

Unless thats what the extra 500rpm is for.. to pull the last few extra mph with the same or lower gears...
