My setup with the Hardbar was to go with a Simpson Cam-Lock 5 way (V-Type) harness. The Hardbar mounts where the factory shoulder strap bolts were. There is a provided hole to remount the factory shoulder strap on the Hardbar. Thus, I'm able to keep using the factory shoulder & lap belt when on the street. I just leave the Simpson harness behind the seat. For race days, I can bring the harness out front and the factory belt is not in the way. One thing that nobody mentions in their sales literature is that you need to make your own "L-brackets" to mount the lap-belts of the harness. I made 2 brackets that go on top of the RRear & LRear seat mounts. You can't use the factory lap-belt bolts without mangling the plastic housing for the factory lap belts. The shoulder straps were no problem and loop around the Hardbar and they come with a buckle to keep them tight.
The Hardbar is easy to install (just 2 bolts), but you need a very large hex-head allen wrench type socket. Hope this helps, I like mine.
