They made a race car you can't race!!!
Let's make a list:
- A seat you can't but a harness though
- A frame you can't weld a roll bar to
- Brakes you can't get racing pads for.
- Tire sizes you can't get DOT race tires for (or any other DOT street tire or actual race tire).
Add to that enough speed that you will need a cage to run it at virtually every drag strip in the country. And you can see the problem.
Let's not forget that some of those exotic parts will cost mega-dollars to replace. I have never seen a titanium valve spring in a catalog. And had Ferrea tell me their vices just a few months ago. Ditto titanium pushrods.
Now I'm on the list. I'll have time to see what happens before the big check follows the deposit.
