The real C6 Z06 problem is...

They made a race car you can't race!!!

Let's make a list:
  1. A seat you can't but a harness though
  2. A frame you can't weld a roll bar to
  3. Brakes you can't get racing pads for.
  4. Tire sizes you can't get DOT race tires for (or any other DOT street tire or actual race tire).
Add to that enough speed that you will need a cage to run it at virtually every drag strip in the country. And you can see the problem.

Let's not forget that some of those exotic parts will cost mega-dollars to replace. I have never seen a titanium valve spring in a catalog. And had Ferrea tell me their vices just a few months ago. Ditto titanium pushrods.

Now I'm on the list. I'll have time to see what happens before the big check follows the deposit.
