Participated with the Corvette Club of Michigan today at Milan Dragway. We had plenty of time to make practice runs, and check out the track before eliminations.
My first practice runs:

After the first run, I was determined to get a 12 sec time in.
The next run did it!

They call off practice, and have a driver's meeting before starting eliminations. I used a 12.7 as my dial in.
The first run was my last!
Eliminated.
My own fault. The rear started getting a little squirrely, so I backed off it a bit, and didn't realize I wasn't past the 1/4 mile light, and I backed off!!!! How dumb! Et was 13.6881 at 97.03! 10 mph off what Iwas running in practice. Oh well, I had fun and learned a lot..isn't that what's it all about?
