I guess at the end of the day, there has to be some official number. But I've always had a feeling that just the production variance from car to car is probably more than 1 MPH, not to mention environmental conditions and such.

I have no direct experience driving 6-digit-price exotics, but I've always heard one of the ways they are better than our Z's is in very high speed handlng, like 140MPH+. I wonder how the new Z is going to do in that department.

(Not that it matters to me - fastest I've had my car is 110, and that only once, passing a stream of 5 or 6 cars on a wide open road with miles of visibility and huge shoulders).
