No, he can enter an order at any time, stock orders if not placed in 90 days get cancelled, sold orders remain in the system until placed or the end of the model year, which ever comes first.

Thursday, the dealer gets his allocations and constraints. The dealer has to make sure that he has buildable orders within allocation and constraints. Additionally he has to enter a desired quantity of units. (this only makes a difference with models other than Corvette) If the dealer has an allocation, and a constraint for polished wheels, and the first order does not have polished wheels, the wheels go back up to the national level and get re-distributed to another dealer based on 'available days supply'. On Monday nights, the orders go from 1100 to 2000. Tuesdays are the last day to modify orders and make last changes. Tuesday night orders go to 2500 and then Thursday they go to 3000. And the process starts all over again.
