99FRC Should I buy 04 Z06 shocks & sways?

Looking for more performance from my 99FRC. I autocross and do spirited driving. What do you guys think of adding 04 Z06 shocks and swaybars. Will the car understeer more? Is it worth the upgrade? Thanks. Steve

'04 Shocks & Bars on 99 FRC

Hi,
I swapped to the ’04 shocks & bars on my ‘99. The ride is a little rougher but it does everything better at the track. I won’t be going back to the Z51 parts. I also lowered the car ~5/8” at the same time which gave a slight increase in the camber front & rear.
Good luck, Steve

Ditto to the above, and be sure to replace the plastic end links with the later versions.

I am debating the same thing.. I am also considering going with HALS all the way around and Z06 sway bars.
