I took my rear wheels off the other day thinking I could adjust my emergency brake properly. I took off the rotors so I could reach the adjustment which I guess is the little spinner that tightens up or loosens the brake. Ultimately, it didnt work very well and all I got was a little squeaking sound coming from my rear wheels after I pull the brake? What is the proper way to adjust this because I dont have a clue I guess?
If you are in an FRC, you might try backing up slowly and using your emergency brake to stop. Do that a couple of three or four times, then try it as an emergency brake and and see if it isn't better.
