Colder

I got a new predator tune a few days ago and it has the computer to richen out the mixture.
Is this correct because the cold weather is leaning out the mixture. I felt it in my sotp meter for sure.
But it sucks in vegas during the winter b/c it's getting Colder
and colder with more power and still a lot of dust out here all the time and my r1 nittos (even 335/30/18's) don't hook worth crap until they're warmed up.
I hope to get it to the track soon, I haven't ran it since september when I went my best in Vegas off the bottle at
1.68 60' (lot'o VHT) (toyo proxes RA-1 race tire non- drag radial) and 10.96 at 129mph. I'll see how the Nittos do soon.
I have another question, who runs the toyo proxes ra-1's but still thinks it has better traction than the nitto r1 drag radials. I've owned both but never seemed to get more than 4-5000k mi on the toyo's vs. 10k+ on nitto r1's with track runs. The toyo's are a pretty penny and I've had 3 sets on the car over a period of about 6 months, and have seen 4k at best with less than 3k worst on them.
Aren't the nitto r-1's and the proxes ra-1 supposed to have the same compound and the ra-1 has 8/32 tread vs the nittos 6/32, what's up with that. The nittos are dirt cheap. And am always happy to replace them.

Toyo's

I've got the Toyo RA-1's on my tire, and I've got about 12K on it since last December. I think the Nitto's are exactly the same, but I haven't had them on my vette yet, had them on my old Mustang Cobra however.

I'm moving to BFG Drag Radials however as my daily driver, so i'll probably only get 4-6K out of them.

I live in Vegas too !!
