Compare 99 to 00 FRCs

What differences (if any) are there between a 1999 FRC and a 2000 model? any difference in build quality?

4031 FRC's were made in '99 and 2090 in 2000. Differences were the lack of a passenger side cylinder lock and thinner spoke wheels in 2000.

I also think the Z51 was standard on the 2000.. and the TC AH plus you could get the 12 disc Cd changer.. Not sure if you could get that on the 99..

Ok.. So it was after the FRC before they got the AH that could be shut off on the fly. Thanks for clearing that up.

I wish i had a '00 bright blue FRC like Tom did. that is a collector's item in my view (and a fun car in the interim!).

99FRC's

The '99 FRC's also have Z51 suspensions, same as the 2000 model. Engines, horsepower, and suspension components were the same as far as I know, until 2001 when the FRC became the now famous (and King, in my book, of the Vettes) Z06. The rest of the minor changes between 1999 and 2000 are rather insignificant to me. THe other insignificant thing that might have changed is the automatic unlocking and locking feature built into the key fobs. That was discontinued across the Corvette line in some year - might not have been 2000, maybe 01 0r 02. My 03 doesn't have it.
